is among our favorites to use. It is powerful, responsive and thanks to its excellent natural speech recognition it is easy to use while driving. Now that is improving, as MBUX gets Apple Music integration, the German automaker said on Wednesday.
Apple Music isn’t the first streaming platform to come to MBUX, but it’s definitely a big step forward, especially forusers. It joins Spotify, Tidal and Amazon Music and gives you access to over 75 million songs.
To take advantage of Apple Music integration, European Mercedes owners must activate it in their personal “Mercedes Me” account as they would with Spotify, Tidal, etc. Then, as long as they have already configured the smartphone data for MBUX, they can stream. US homeowners don’t have to worry about the app. Instead, they can activate things with a QR code on their smartphone.
The upcoming C-Class and S-Class will be the first to benefit from the new integration, but other Mercedes owners with vehicles equipped with MBUX will have access to it after a live update is released later this year.
