On Sunday, Florida law enforcement rescued 11 people from an overturned boat off Tampa Bay’s Beer Can Island.
Hillsborough County Sheriff’s officials received a call around 5:24 p.m. about several people stuck in the water.
The Hillsborough Sheriff’s Marine Unit arrived by air and sea to discover the boaters, which included men, women and children, swimming around the overturned boat.
“Almost all of the victims were wearing life jackets,” Hillsborough Sheriff Chad Chronister said in the news release.
A group of Good Samaritans noticed the sinking boat and “came immediately” to save people from the water.
Two boaters were however seen clinging to the boat.
Bodycam footage captured two men clutching the yellow rope to reach the police vessel.
“Bring me, bring me,” one of the stranded boaters shouted at officers.
Both were rescued, but one complained of chest pains and shortness of breath.
The victim was medically rushed to a local hospital, officials said.
